This position will be responsible for managing all sales and commercial activities of our International Trade within the designated ports, with a strong focus on driving and expanding our trade services in the Semarang branch.
Responsibilities:- Achieving Target Lifting, Target Revenue, and all kinds of targets assigned by management, specifically managing import volumes and aggressively hunting export volumes (COC/SOC hybrid) for the Semarang area.
- Handling customer service tasks and managing documentation/operations for import, export, and transshipment cargoes (including handling transshipments to and from outports via Semarang).
- Assisting the Semarang branch office in coordination tasks to secure berth windows and equipment control for the International Trade business.
- Doing Sales Call Plan & Sales Call Reporting for any issues to be discussed by the reporting manager.
- Handling complaints from customers and ensuring swift issue resolution.
- Monitoring daily bookings to ensure agents/offices achieve the weekly space allocation set by Line Management.
- Developing customer profiles across all assigned locations with diversified cargo profiles to achieve targets set for market share, revenue, and weekly lifting.
- Compiling market info from each branch and reporting competitor activities regarding new services, pricing strategies, service loading factors, and other business cooperation ideas.
- Maintaining good relationships with our top clients.
- Developing productive business relationships with our overseas clients, reviewing sales processes, updating policies and procedures, and leading/developing the capability of the international sales team.
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree from any major.
- Possess experience in International Sales / Commercial fields within the container shipping company or maritime logistics industry.
- Strong capabilities in Customer Service (CS) functions, shipping documentation, and port coordination.
- Willing to be placed at the Semarang branch office
