This position reports to:

GPG Mfg Unit Manager__Business Line Sales & Operations Planning Leader will be responsible for driving our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to the next level and for connecting it with the Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) process.

The Business Line Sales & Operations Planning Leader supports the connection between Demand Planning, Supply Planning processes and Global Capacity enhancement with the goal of improving the organization's ability to fulfill global customer demand. In addition to the creation and facilitation of the monthly supply planning drumbeat, the task is to engage stakeholders and provide a process design ready to use and deploy for supply planning and reconciliation.

A strong implementation focus, change management and a clear definition of process responsibilities are key to success.

This position will report to Business Line Global Manufacturing.

Your responsibilities

Lead and coordinate unit-specific and cross-unit projects aimed at improving planning and fulfillment metrics such as On-Time Delivery, Inventory Turns, Lead Time and Plan Accuracy.

Design and implement the S&OP process from an operations perspective (supply planning and reconciliation).Stakeholder management and definition of roles and responsibilities within the S&OP process.

Governance of the monthly Global Business Supply Planning drumbeat and related KPIs and reporting.

Focus on the further development of the S&OE process. Connect the S&OE and S&OP processes.

Facilitate the Supply Planning drumbeat, related reviews and approvals to improve demand-supply balance.

Identify and propose projects to drive the internal planning process to the next level using SAP MM, SAP PP, and an advanced planning tool.

Perform standard and ad hoc analyses related to S&OP and S&OE metrics such as Plan Accuracy and On-Time Delivery, including identifying key root causes for non-performance and driving related improvement initiatives.

Act as a  subject matter expert  for S&OP and S&OE, establish and share best practices, conduct cross-unit process assessments and benchmarking.

Build competencies within the organization by training and coaching the Planning & Fulfillment community.

Facilitate fit-gap analyses of IBP-related IS tools, assist with the deployment of standard IS solutions for Planning & Fulfillment and provide professional support for users.

Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of experience in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), demand planning, supply planning, production planning, or integrated business planning within a manufacturing environment.

Advanced experience with Anaplan and other advanced forecasting/planning platforms and tools (SAP APO or others).Proven experience supporting multiple manufacturing sites and balancing demand across a global manufacturing footprint.

Proven track record of improving Planning & Fulfillment, especially in the area of Sales & Operations Planning implementation and improvement.

Strong expertise in the Planning & Fulfillment domains of Planning and Disposition, Sales & Operations Planning and Execution.

Key skills and execution experience in Supply Planning.

Advanced knowledge of SAP (MM, PP, and WM modules).Experience in the application of Project Management and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.

Strong leadership capabilities across team boundaries and with limited formal authority.

Customer-focused and action-oriented, with a systematic and structured approach.
