This role works under the guidance of skilled operators and production leadership to support Calbee America’s commitment to safety, food quality, and operational excellence.

• Perform tasks as instructed and work assigned shifts as directed by supervision.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on extrusion, milling, and seasoning equipment under the guidance of a skilled operator.
• Prepare and load raw materials according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor equipment operation and make adjustments to ensure product quality and production efficiency.
• Assist other employees and departments as needed to maintain continuous production flow.
• Communicate effectively with other crews and departments to ensure operational efficiency and product quality.
• Achieve operator certification in milling, extrusion, and seasoning within an agreed-upon timeframe .

• Perform all cleaning and sanitation tasks required to meet plant standards, including disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of equipment.
• Attend and actively participate in required training sessions related to GMPs, SOPs, HACCP, and SQF.
• Ensure work areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition.
• Meet all quality, sanitation, and production standards.

• High school diploma or GED required .
• 2+ years of experience operating industrial production equipment, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Experience with extrusion, milling, or seasoning equipment strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot equipment and make process adjustments.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• Prior exposure to GMP, HACCP, and SQF standards.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting industrial equipment.
• Ability to use powered and non-powered hand tools for routine maintenance and equipment adjustments.
• Ability to operate powered industrial trucks and bulk material handling equipment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain O SHA-compliant forklift certification.
• Basic computer proficiency , including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
