The Marshall-Nemaha Educational Services Cooperative is seeking a dynamic, student-centered Gifted Education Teacher to design and deliver rigorous, engaging, and differentiated instruction for identified gifted and high-ability learners for the school year. The ideal candidate fosters creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving while supporting the social-emotional needs of advanced learners. This position will involve travel between districts in the cooperative to serve students.
Mileage will be reimbursed.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide differentiated instruction, enrichment, and/or acceleration services for gifted students.
* Develop and implement curriculum that emphasizes higher-order thinking, inquiry, creativity, and real-world application.
* Use multiple data sources to identify student needs and monitor academic growth.
* Collaborate with general education teachers to support differentiation in the regular classroom.
* Facilitate project-based learning, independent study, and problem-solving opportunities.
* Support the social-emotional development of gifted learners.
* Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and programming.
* Maintain compliance with district and state guidelines for gifted education services.
* Participate in professional learning and continuous improvement efforts.
