Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your expertise will help us streamline our financial processes, support budgeting efforts, and produce reliable financial reports. Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including journal entries, account reconciliation, and ledger maintenance using accounting Quick Books software.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of all financial transactions and account balances
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Prepare detailed financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Assist with payroll processing, Medicaid and Medicare reporting, and audit preparations to support regulatory compliance
- Support budgeting activities by tracking expenses and assisting in financial planning efforts
- Maintain meticulous records of all transactions, journal entries, and supporting documentation for audit purposes
- Proficiency with Quick Books accounting software
- Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles including GAAP and governmental accounting standards
- Experience with double entry bookkeeping, general ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliation processes
- Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable management and payroll processing
- Ability to prepare accurate financial reports and perform account analysis with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to explain financial concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with team members
Pay: $64,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
