Job SummaryResponsible for designating intake and screening of client traffic for appointments. Completes documents for assistance with all required data for files, logs, and other internal systems. Coordinates and schedules appointments for case management services. Performs other related CSBG and LIHEAP duties as assigned, and other general office assistance. Assist with front desk duties as designated.
QualificationsA high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional formal training beyond high school is preferred. Experience working with the public is required. At least two years of experience in customer service or a related field is preferred. Excellent verbal communication skills and a pleasant telephone manner are required. The candidate must also have excellent organizational and record-keeping skills and legible handwriting.
Proficiency with standard word processing, database, and spreadsheet programs, as well as the ability to adapt to custom software, is required. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work as part of a team and knows the service area. A valid South Carolina driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and dependable transportation are required.
