Civil Design Engineer III-Nuclear

Duration: 36 Months. Hours are M-Th 7AM - 5:30PM. Per diem if qualified. OT as needed. Hybrid eligibility confirmed only after on-site qualification period is completed.

• Workers at this level solve more complex problems in engineering areas of specialization with limited supervision.
• Workers are expected to develop advanced skills and the ability to work with even greater independence.
• They effectively apply fundamental concepts and procedures to work that is progressively complex and varied. 10 years discipline experience.

• Design engineer with ASIC structural steel and ACI 318 concrete design experience to support the Oconee Nuclear Station projects.
• Responsible for the design of pipe supports with loads provided by the pipe stress engineering group, evaluation of concrete wall corebores, and design of concrete anchorage.
• Individual will also support field walkdowns and interface with craft to support installation activities.

• PE License in Structural Engineering
• MSCE

  GT STRUDL, ANSYS, or similar structural design software experience

• 10 years or greater experience

• Bachelor s Degree in civil engineering
