Job Summary:
Workers at this level solve more complex problems in engineering areas of specialization with limited supervision. Workers are expected to develop advanced skills and the ability to work with even greater independence. They effectively apply fundamental concepts and procedures to work that is progressingly complex and varied. 10 years discipline experience.
Responsibilities- Design engineer with ASIC structural steel and ACI 318 concrete design experience to support the Oconee Nuclear Station projects.
- Responsible for the design of pipe supports with loads provided by the pipe stress engineering group, evaluation of concrete wall corebores, and design of concrete anchorage.
- Individual will also support field walkdowns and interface with craft to support installation activities.
- PE License in Structural Engineering
- MSCE
- Design Code
Experience:
ASIC, ACI 318, ASCE - Software
Experience:
GT STRUDL, ANSYS, or similar structural design software experience
- 10 years or great experience
- Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering
