We are currently recruiting for an experienced Instrument & Electrical Engineer II to join a major manufacturing facility in Seneca, SC.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical / Instrumentation Engineer offering a highly competitive salary of $110,000–$140,000 plus eligibility for a 10% annual bonus.
POWER DISTRIBUTION EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS POSITIONTHE ROLE
As an Instrument & Electrical Engineer II, you will provide technical expertise across the facility's electrical and instrumentation systems, supporting maintenance, reliability, troubleshooting, and capital improvement activities.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Provide technical support for electrical and instrumentation equipment
- Support the site's electrical power distribution systems and associated maintenance
- Work with electrical distribution equipment including transformers, breakers, and switch gear
- Troubleshoot complex electrical and instrumentation issues
- Develop and maintain electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Provide technical support for PLC and SCADA systems
- Support equipment upgrades, installations, commissioning, and plant improvement projects
- Ensure electrical systems comply with applicable codes and engineering standards
- Work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, and other technical teams
- Provide technical guidance to contractors and engineering personnel
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Electrical/instrumentation engineering experience within an industrial, chemical, process, or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical power systems
- Power distribution experience is essential
- Experience with transformers, breakers, switch gear, and associated electrical distribution equipment
- Knowledge of instrumentation and industrial control systems
- PLC and/or SCADA experience
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
- Understanding of applicable electrical codes and safety standards
- Experience with commissioning, equipment upgrades, and capital projects is highly advantageous
$110,000–$140,000 annual salary, depending on experience, plus eligibility for a 10% annual bonus.
