• Shift: Nights 7p-7:30a. Call and Float are Required.
• Weekend Coverage – Every Other Weekend.
• Medication System:
  Omnicell.
• Special Procedures: LDRP with nursery responsibilities. Baby Friendly Facility. RN's are cross-trained to labor and delivery, circulator role, acute care nursery, and OB triage. Unit also cares for GYN surgery patients. RN's perform their own hearing screenings.
• Charting: 1 year of EPIC experience required.

  Required:
  
  ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP, RN state license.
• Experience:
  
  Years of experience required: 2; unit will review 1st-time travelers depending on years of experience.
• Floating:
  Agency staff may float to other units or campuses as needed; floating limited to areas where staff are qualified and have documented competencies.
• Patient ratios: 1:1 with labor patients; 1:2 with cytotec inductions; 1:1 with mag patients; 1:3 with couplet (mother-baby) care; 1:1 if a baby goes to the sick nursery.
• Additional: 1 year of EPIC charting experience required.
