About the Position

Minimum of 1 year with EPIC EMR required; preferred experience in teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma level I and II.

State licensed

Certifications:

ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS

Must-Have:
Previous Charge Experience - 5 years of experience required. Travel experience is required.

Description:

The position requires providing respiratory care to patients of all age groups, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Shift consists of three 12-hour night shifts weekly with weekend coverage every other week.
Candidates must possess skills in various respiratory procedures and equipment.
Responsibilities include performing bronchoscopy, managing fresh tracheostomies, and assisting in high-risk deliveries.
The role also involves performing capillary blood gases, intubation assistance, and managing patients with respiratory distress syndrome.

Experience with specific medications and treatments is essential, including nebulized treatments and mechanical ventilation.
We emphasize multidisciplinary collaboration, working alongside teams from different disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Staff will need to float to other units as required based on patient census and staffing needs.
Candidates should have experience interpreting arterial blood gases and performing basic EKGs.
Modules and pre-assignment training will be required for successful candidates.
