Join our team and contribute to something great! JDI Industrial Services is currently seeking to fill a Fabricator Welder position in Westminster, SC. We are looking for individuals with structural welding experience. Must be proficient with welding process (STICK, TIG and MIG). Must be able to gather all materials, cut all materials, prep, weld, assemble all materials. Must be self-driven

Responsibilities

• Responsible for working safely and being mindful of safe working conditions for yourself and those around you.
• Perform work according to scope as laid out by a supervisor.
• Put forth the effort in every task to ensure adherence to J. Davis quality standards.
• Locate and identify steel materials
• Cut, grind, bevel, weld materials according to drawing
• Use forklift to move materials
• Drill, tap, bolt materials together
• Correctly operate and properly maintain tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in fab shop welding.
• Must be able to read a tape measure and level.
• Familiar with basic carpentry and fabrication means and methods.
• Able to read and understand shop drawings or diagrams.
• Recognize, understand weld symbols on prints
• Use gauges or measuring tools to validate welds will pass visual or mechanical tests
• Must be proficient in choosing multiple weld processes, choosing multiple filler materials, and setting welding machine.
• Experience in Industrial environments
