Production Manager
Responsible for overseeing manufacturing activities for one product group or multiple manufacturing areas within the plant. Ensure continuous improvement in production efficiency, quality and cost. Establishes schedules and ensures effective and efficient use of manpower, materials, and equipment. Manages and develops direct reports.

Standard Duties- Set strategic vision for areas of responsibility.
- Responsible to communicate goals for support groups (i.e. Engineering, Human Resources, Supply Chain, etc.).
- Accountable for area’s safety, quality, delivery and financial performance.
- Responsibility and ownership of manufacturing performance metrics and develops continuous improvement action plans.
- Participate in the creation of new policies and assist in the deployment of new employee related policies.
- Monitors capacity to meet the requirements of existing and projected customer programs.
- Responsible for manufacturing input to appropriate cross-functional teams for customer interaction and customer complaint response (8D).
- Provides guidance on daily activities as necessary to support production.
- Coordinates with other functional managers in planning and implementing Quality, Human Resources and Manufacturing programs.

Additional Information- Travel is occasionally required, up to 5% of the time.

Education & Experience- Bachelor Degree in related discipline required
- MBA preferred
- 8 plus years of experience in manufacturing related field
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience supervising salaried employees in a manufacturing environment
- At least three years of Lean Manufacturing experience required
- Ability to train, coach and mentor a team of salaried production supervisors.
- Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $107,600 - $147,950
