Job SummaryPPG Quality is seeking dependable, motivated Material & Machine Associates to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for safely moving materials, supporting machine operations, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring quality standards are consistently met.
Successful candidates enjoy working independently, take pride in producing quality work, and are committed to maintaining a safe and productive workplace.
Essential Responsibilities- Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks to transport materials throughout the facility.
- Support machine operation and production activities.
- Read, understand, and follow work instructions and operating procedures.
- Prepare production paperwork accurately and completely.
- Maintain quality standards while meeting production goals.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customer representatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Ability to safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
Applicants must be able to:
- Lift up to 45 pounds.
- Stand, walk, stoop, bend, climb, and sit for extended periods.
- Perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.
- Work safely in a manufacturing environment while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
