Position Summary
The PC&L Associate is responsible for loading and unloading materials to and from production lines, storage areas, and trailers. The operator is responsible for following the job responsibilities within the plant and/or warehouse while operating in a fast paced environment.
KeyRoles & Responsibilities
Loads product, unloads product, receives product, ships product, moves materials at elevated heights, and issues material using system transactions.
Standard Duties- Safely perform all tasks assigned by Leadership, including all positions within the Physical Logistics department.
- Safely operate all equipment to which the individual is certified (ex:
Sit-down Forklifts, Stand Up Lifts (Both Reach and Pacer), Tuggers, Electric Jacks). - Read and understand work instructions and/or follow oral instructions to execute the material flow requirements.
- Manually load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, baskets, and shelves on foot and by hand as required.
- Accurately and timely enter materials transactional information into SAP and other systems as required.
- Read electronic and manual bill of materials, pull sheets, pick sheets to retrieve and deliver necessary materials for operations.
- Support 5S / Housekeeping activities as required.
- Use appropriate deviation areas, hold tags, to process defective parts through nonconforming material procedure.
- Load/unload materials into trailers adhering to Dock Safety Protocol.
- Meet physical logistics KPI’s, associate engagement and teamwork.
- Adhere to FIFO standards throughout all storage areas and material flow points.
- Wear all required PPE and follow box cutting safety protocols.
Physical Requirements
- Stand for long periods, including during operation of stand up lifts.
- Lifting shoulder high up to 35 lbs repetitively.
- Stepping up and down off lift; walking long distances over extended periods.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Working in a non-climate controlled environment.
- Repetitive motion activities, including but not limited to box cutting, standing, lifting, loading/unloading carts.

Education:
High School diploma or GED required.
- 3 months of Powered Industrial Truck experience required.
- Active Forklift Certification License preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP/ERP systems preferred.
- Experience in fast paced industrial lean environment preferred.
Knowledge of SAP Inventory software, Excel Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software.
