I&C Technician - Outage Contract. You will report onsite to Oconee nuclear facility in Seneca, S.C. You will report to the I&C Supervisor.

Personnel assigned to this category shall have a minimum of 3 years I&C experience and 1 year experience in an operating nuclear plant.

• Plans, layout, assembles, installs and repairs instruments, both electronic and pneumatic, including primary piping and tubing.
• Select type and size of pipe and related material according to job specification.
• Installs, repairs, maintains, and adjusts indicating, recording and controlling instruments and test equipment, used to control and measure variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, motion, and chemical composition using precision instruments and hand tools.
• Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs primary piping and tubing.
• Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plan work activities.
• May disassemble malfunctioning instruments or test equipment and examine and test mechanisms and circuitry for defects.
• Inspects instruments and test equipment periodically and adjusts calibration to ensure functioning within specified standards.
• Installs associated support structures, components and tubing.
• Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules. Perform other duties as required.

• 3 years' experience in I&C field.
• 1 year of nuclear experience.
• 18+ years of age.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Be able to pass criminal background, drug/alcohol screen (including medical and recreational marijuana and CBD oil), and employment testing.
