About Jamestown Health

CARE and the Jamestown Salish Seasons

Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe is expanding its healthcare offerings in the form of a brand new, state‑of‑the‑art Evaluation and Treatment (E&T) Center, named Jamestown Salish Seasons, constructed on the Jamestown Healing Campus.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity:
  • This facility is the first and only Tribally owned and operated E&T in Washington State.
  • It is classified as a freestanding, 16-bed Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) designed to provide 24/7/365 behavioral health inpatient treatment, including crisis stabilization, diagnosis, medication management, and more.
  • The Center's operational focus is on voluntary treatment as opposed to involuntary, ensuring our treatment offerings are designed from the ground up to provide world-class, recovery-oriented care.

We are committed to evidence-based, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed treatment that honors our mission, values, and standards for quality and safety.

The Opportunity

Jamestown Salish Seasons is seeking a dedicated, high-level leader to join our team as an Operations Manager. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the operational, administrative, and facility-support functions of our 16-bed voluntary residential treatment center.

You will ensure that day-to-day operations run efficiently, safely, and in alignment with Jamestown Health

CARE’s mission, values, and regulatory requirements. As a cornerstone of our leadership team, you will serve as the designated backup to the Executive Director, maintaining continuity in our 24/7/365 treatment environment.

  • Manage staff scheduling, time-off requests, and coverage planning.
  • Maintain 24/7/365 operational readiness.
  • Assume delegated leadership authority in the absence of the Executive Director.
Staff Leadership & Supervision
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop the kitchen manager, housekeeping staff, coordinators, and billing/UM specialists.
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management for administrative personnel.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Policy, Compliance & Quality Improvement
  • Collaborate on the development and revision of operational policies.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (RCW, WAC, HIPAA, and 42 CFR Part
    2).
  • Lead risk management, audit readiness, and emergency preparedness activities.
  • Monitor quality improvement metrics and participate in corrective action planning.
Resource & Budget Management
  • Provide input on operational budgets regarding supplies, equipment, and staffing.
  • Monitor resource utilization to ensure cost-effective operations.
Cultural Competence & Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Tribal representatives to integrate Tribal culture and values into operational practices.
  • Foster a cross-cultural environment that respects the social context of the patients served.
  • Participate in the leadership on‑call rotation to support 24/7 operations.
Requirements
Education & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Year‑for‑year equivalent experience may substitute for education).
