Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe is expanding its healthcare offerings in the form of a brand new, state‑of‑the‑art Evaluation and Treatment (E&T) Center, named Jamestown Salish Seasons, constructed on the Jamestown Healing Campus.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity:- This facility is the first and only Tribally owned and operated E&T in Washington State.
- It is classified as a freestanding, 16-bed Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) designed to provide 24/7/365 behavioral health inpatient treatment, including crisis stabilization, diagnosis, medication management, and more.
- The Center's operational focus is on voluntary treatment as opposed to involuntary, ensuring our treatment offerings are designed from the ground up to provide world-class, recovery-oriented care.

The OpportunityJamestown Salish Seasons is seeking a dedicated, high-level leader to join our team as an Operations Manager. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the operational, administrative, and facility-support functions of our 16-bed voluntary residential treatment center.
You will ensure that day-to-day operations run efficiently, safely, and in alignment with Jamestown Health
CARE’s mission, values, and regulatory requirements. As a cornerstone of our leadership team, you will serve as the designated backup to the Executive Director, maintaining continuity in our 24/7/365 treatment environment.
Operational & Administrative Leadership
- Oversee all daily operational and administrative functions, including maintenance, environmental services, and security.
- Manage staff scheduling, time-off requests, and coverage planning.
- Maintain 24/7/365 operational readiness.
- Assume delegated leadership authority in the absence of the Executive Director.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the kitchen manager, housekeeping staff, coordinators, and billing/UM specialists.
- Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management for administrative personnel.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate on the development and revision of operational policies.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (RCW, WAC, HIPAA, and 42 CFR Part
2). - Lead risk management, audit readiness, and emergency preparedness activities.
- Monitor quality improvement metrics and participate in corrective action planning.
- Provide input on operational budgets regarding supplies, equipment, and staffing.
- Monitor resource utilization to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Collaborate with Tribal representatives to integrate Tribal culture and values into operational practices.
- Foster a cross-cultural environment that respects the social context of the patients served.
- Participate in the leadership on‑call rotation to support 24/7 operations.
Education & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Year‑for‑year equivalent experience may substitute for education).
- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of progressive supervisory or management experience in a healthcare, clinic, inpatient, or residential treatment setting.
- Deep understanding of staff scheduling, workforce planning, and administrative management.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and healthcare audit preparedness.
- Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and operational software.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Commitment to ethical professional conduct and inclusive practices.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel locally/regionally.
- American Indian/Alaska Native preference applies.
- Experience working with Tribal communities.
- Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric, inpatient, or residential treatment settings.
- College degree in a relevant discipline.
