Pay Range: $49.45 - $76.60
Union: UFCW 3000-Professional and Technical
Shift Differentials/Premiums:
- Evening - $3.00/hour
- Night - $5.00/hour
- Weekend - $4.50/hour
- Pharm Night - $8.50/hour
Premiums:
- Standby - $4.00/hour
- Lead - $3.25/hour
- Per Diem - 15% (on base, in lieu of benefits)
- Certification - $2.00/hour
- Trainer - $2.00/hour
- Student Coord - $2.00/hour, 2+ = $3.25/hour
Primary responsibility is to safely deliver the prescribed course of radiation therapy and perform simulation and planning techniques according to procedure. Operates radiotherapy and radiologic equipment for the treatment of patients and produces radiography (x-rays) of the body for treatment planning purposes. Is also responsible for undertaking dosimetric calculations and is required to fabricate all aspects of lead blocks for treatment purposes.
Education- Associate's degree from two-year college or technical school graduation preferred.
- Three years clinical experience in radiotherapy and dosimetric treatments preferred.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) R.T.(T) credential required.
- Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
