The Jamestown Healing Clinic (JHC) offers a unique opportunity to work within a fully integrated care model that combines primary care, dental, behavioral health, and opioid use disorder (OUD) treatment — all under one roof.

We are currently seeking a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) clinically licensed in the State of WA to join our multidisciplinary team. This position plays a critical role in our Opioid Treatment Program (OTP), where you'll provide direct clinical services and long-term support for individuals striving toward wellness. Position

Summary

The SUDP provides a range of counseling services, including individual, group, and family sessions, with a focus on supporting patients in recovery. This role is a key part of our integrated approach to care and offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM
, promoting work-life balance and consistency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct counseling and case management services to patients (individual, group, family, educational)
  • Perform assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and coordinate aftercare services
  • Serve as a communication bridge between patients, families, clinic staff, and outside agencies
  • Prepare and submit patient progress reports, including legal or court‑mandated updates
  • Facilitate group education sessions, recovery discussions, and patient orientation
  • Respond to crises that may impact treatment and use challenges as therapeutic opportunities
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the clinic's electronic health record (EHR) system
  • Participate in community education events on substance use and recovery
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including 42 CFR Part 2
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and clinic policies at all times
Required Qualifications
  • Associate's degree
  • Certified as a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) in Washington State
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
  • Knowledge of behavioral health disorders, trauma, and motivational counseling techniques
  • Understanding of social and cultural dynamics relevant to Tribal communities
  • Proficient in using Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and Microsoft Office
  • Effective verbal and written communication, including conflict resolution
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License
  • Ability to pass a background check and comply with vaccine requirements
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Knowledge of healthcare administrative operations and compliance
