DescriptionAre you a compassionate, licensed behavioral health professional passionate about helping individuals through crisis and recovery? Join Jamestown Salish Seasons (JSS), a new 16-bed voluntary behavioral health Evaluation & Treatment facility where you'll provide high-quality, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
As a Mental Health Professional (MHP), you'll work alongside an interdisciplinary team to support adults experiencing acute mental health conditions and co-occurring disorders through assessment, therapy, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and discharge coordination—all while helping patients build a path toward lasting recovery.
Schedule
- Full-Time | 40 hours per week
- Thursday–Sunday
- 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Clinical Assessment & Treatment
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, intake evaluations, suicide risk assessments, and ongoing behavioral health assessments using evidence-based practices.
- Develop, implement, monitor, and revise individualized treatment plans addressing behavioral health conditions, co-occurring disorders, crisis stabilization, and recovery goals.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), psychoeducation, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care.
- Provide crisis intervention, risk assessments, de-escalation, and stabilization services.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment interventions as clinically appropriate.
Treatment Planning & Care Coordination
- Coordinate care with psychiatric providers, nursing staff, peer support specialists, recovery support staff, and the interdisciplinary treatment team.
- Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, utilization reviews, and discharge planning.
- Coordinate referrals to community behavioral health providers, substance use treatment programs, housing resources, and other support services.
- Advocate for patients while supporting recovery-oriented, strengths-based care.
Therapeutic Programming
- Develop and facilitate therapeutic groups and structured programming promoting emotional wellness, coping skills, relapse prevention, recovery, and successful community reintegration.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create engaging, non-institutional therapeutic activities.
Documentation & Compliance
- Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, safety plans, and discharge summaries.
- Document patient care using the EMR, ObservSMART, and other approved systems.
- Maintain documentation in compliance with organizational policies, accreditation standards, Washington State regulations, and federal requirements.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration
- Build collaborative relationships with patients, families, Tribal community members, healthcare providers, and community agencies.
- Serve as a behavioral health resource to team members within scope of practice.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical staffing, and interdisciplinary care planning.
Professional Development & Organizational Support
- Maintain required licensure, certifications, and continuing education.
- Participate in required meetings, training, emergency preparedness, and professional development.

Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with applicable RCW, WAC, HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and other regulations.
- Maintain complete and accurate EMR documentation.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
- Support audits, chart reviews, and corrective action planning.
Cultural Competence
