The Compliance Manager ensures compliance with all State, NIGC MICS and Compact gaming regulations, operations systems of internal controls and other regulatory requirements; assist Departments in development of Policy & Procedures, develop and conduct Title 31 training; establish risk assessment and oversee safety initiatives for Resort properties. Oversees the Count Team and Reception Staff, performs administrative functions for the Company.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Keep informed and educated on all current regulations including, but not limited to, NIGC Minimum Internal Control Standards, Washington State Gambling Commission rules and regulations, Tribal State Compact, MOU's and Appendix's and other regulatory requirements
* Serve as Title 31 Compliance Officer; create training programs for Title 31/Bank Secrecy Act and Suspicious Activity Reporting
* Review Casino Internal Controls periodically and recommend changes to strengthen the protection of Casino assets
* Review and update departmental written policies and procedures with the respective Directors and/or Managers to ensure no conflict with the Casino Internal Controls, the State Compact, Appendixes, MOUs, Tribal Ordinances, and other regulatory documents
* Review and investigate substantial variances departmental and individual variances (over/shorts) for potential patterns of procedural violations or possible theft with the General Manager
* Report any possible weakness of Internal Controls to the CEO/GM with recommendation(s) for improvement
* Responsible for Administration Department budget and annual budget procedures for Administration
* Ensure appropriate and timely responses are completed in State or Tribal Gaming Agency reports, audits, and check lists
* Review and maintain all contract and business and property insurance files.
* Participate in preparation for and joint oversight of State audits
* Handles all Company non-health related insurance, to include renewals, incident reporting, cost performance reporting, etc.
* Calculates and sends wire transfers and/or ACH Payments
* Manages receptionists and all receptionist related activities
* Manages the Count Team and related activities to ensure compliance with regulations
* Assists the Safety Committee chairperson with coordination of all safety initiatives to minimize liabilities and address safety concerns
* Serve as a member of the Safety Board
* Assist all team members as needed
* Follow all general and department policies and procedures
* Attend mandatory and non-mandatory meetings, training, and briefings
* Provide courteous service to guests and be cordial to all team members
* Follow all general and department policies and procedures
* Review and evaluate data for accuracy and completeness
* Maintain a productive climate and motivate employees to meet performance standards
* Responsible for the timely completion of performance appraisals for designated team members
* Must exercise confidentiality and discretion on a daily basis
* Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
* Must follow all safety rules and regulations
* Follow all general and department policies and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
* BS in Accounting or related field plus one-year experience preferred. May substitute with seven years of full cycle accounting and gaming compliance experience
* Minimum five years of Gaming Revenue Audit experience
* Must possess outstanding interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with guests and/or team members
* Strong organization, prioritization, and multiple-tasking skills
* Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining work processes
* Innovative problem-solver who can generate workable solutions and resolve complaints
* Ability to operate standard office equipment, including but not limited to, computers, telephone systems, calculators, copiers, and facsimile machines
* Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
