Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe is expanding its healthcare offerings in the form of a brand new, state-of-the-art Evaluation and Treatment (E&T) Center, named Jamestown Salish Seasons, constructed on the Jamestown Healing Campus.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity:This facility is the first and only Tribally owned and operated E&T in Washington State.
It is classified as a freestanding, 16-bed Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) designed to provide 24/7/365 behavioral health inpatient treatment, including crisis stabilization, diagnosis, medication management, and more.
The Center’s operational focus is on voluntary treatment as opposed to involuntary, ensuring our treatment offerings are designed from the ground up to provide world-class, recovery-oriented care.

Culinary Wellness Assistant/Cook
, you’ll support the preparation and service of nutritious, thoughtfully prepared meals that promote health, recovery, and wellness for residents in our 16-bed residential Evaluation & Treatment Facility. Working alongside our Culinary Wellness Manager, you’ll help create a welcoming dining experience where food is recognized as an essential part of the healing journey.
We are hiring for multiple full-time4-day, 10-hour shifts

Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Monday – Thursday | 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Thursday – Sunday | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Thursday – Sunday | 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

- Prepare meals and snacks according to established menus and guidance from the Culinary Wellness Manager.
- Assist with serving meals in a respectful, supportive, and recovery-oriented environment.
- Help ensure meals are prepared accurately, safely, and on schedule.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and safe food handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, food preparation, and dining areas.
- Assist with food storage, labeling, inventory, and receiving deliveries.
- Support daily kitchen setup, meal service, and cleanup.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and program team members.
- Help foster a welcoming, trauma-informed dining environment that supports resident wellness.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Food Handler’s Card or equivalent certification.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in food service, meal preparation, or kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to follow recipes and meal preparation instructions.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact respectfully with residents and staff.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to support culturally respectful food practices and environments.
- Demonstrated reliability, initiative, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and model ethical, professional conduct.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel locally and regionally as needed.
- Ability to successfully pass a criminal background investigation.
- Experience working in healthcare, residential treatment, behavioral health, or other institutional settings.
- Food Safety Certification.
- Experience working with Tribal communities.
- American Indian/Alaska Native hiring preference applies.
- Must be available to work assigned shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed.
- Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 25 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, squat, twist, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
- Manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination required.
- Ability to maintain a professional and respectful environment while interacting regularly with residents and staff.
