Store Environmental Team memeber

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including overall cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver Brand Promises.
• Deliver friendly customer service, helping customers shop and find what they need.
• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
• Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and place products back in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment. May require mixing water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
• Deep clean key areas of the store including bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways and other high traffic areas to maintain a clean, safe environment for customers and staff.
• Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly; notify supervisor of supply needs in advance for replenishment.
• Seek out areas requiring cleaning; take initiative to complete the task.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Maintain positive and respectful interactions with both team members and customers, even in difficult situations, in keeping with the organization’s vision and values.
• Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other Team Members.

• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Assist with Omni‑channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
• Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements; execute Company policies and standards.

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to move throughout the store.
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching.
• Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
• May involve some outdoor work or use of equipment such as glass cutter and heat press.
• Work hours include nights, weekends and early mornings.

• Public retail store setting with climate controlled areas for most operations.
• Some stock rooms may not be climate controlled.
• Standard commercial cleaners and chemicals from cleaning supplies are used.

Applicants in the U.S. must be at least sixteen (16) years old and satisfy all federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.

Total Base Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.90 per hour.
