Cashier - PT

Right Now, our SEQUIM, WA store is seeking a Part Time Cashier!

Hourly Rate: $17.13 per hour

Responsible for the operation of cash registers, providing customer service, and maintaining shelf stock.

• Operation of cash registers
• Maintaining shelf stock; stocking the sales floor as needed and directed by store management
• Answering phone inquiries
• Maintain a safe/clean and well-merchandised store

• Provide excellent customer service to a variety of customers.

• Follow Goodwill’s cash handling policies and company procedures.

• Willing to be a team player in order to accomplish competitive deadlines and goals.

• High School diploma or GED
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training
• Exceptional analytical, judgment, decision-making and communication skills
• Superior coaching, leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build understanding and consensus

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

• Ability to read and interpret hard data and metrics.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and average.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra when working on spreadsheets.
• Ability to create and manage departmental budget.

• Ability to navigate through multiple program screens and easily use a computer, keyboard, mouse, 10-key, and touchscreen.

Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of a Cashier.
