Overview
PNNL operates through directorates; the Operational Systems Directorate (OSD) leads campus construction and manages operations, facility services, maintenance, and infrastructure planning. The Facilities & Infrastructure Operations (F&IO) Division handles plant engineering, fabrication, craft services, and related functions. This part‑time position is a facility operations representative responsible for overnight shifts at the Sequim, Washington site.
Responsibilities- Perform routine and non‑routine inspections and observations for all facilities at designated locations; monitor and control access.
- Ensure facilities are secured, alarmed, and patrolled at prescribed intervals.
- Identify need and initiate emergency response (fire, ambulance, law enforcement) during non‑business hours.
- Maintain a logbook of shift activities.
- Serve as the onsite facility operations representative during non‑business hours.
Note:
This is a part‑time position based in Sequim, Washington. The anticipated work schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 11:00p.m. to 7:00a.m. (overnight). The schedule may vary based on operational needs.
- High school diploma/GED or higher.
- Experience in facility monitoring, inspections, or security‑related duties (e.g., patrols, access control, or site oversight).
- Familiarity with emergency response procedures, such as notifying fire, medical, or law enforcement services.
- Experience maintaining written logs, reports, or activity records.
- Experience working independently during non‑business hours.
