Financial Analyst, Financial Manager
Responsibilities
Provide strategic finance business partnering to Network leaders and users across Network Operations & Management (NOM), Autonomous, Analytics & AI Networks (A3N) and Singapore CTO Office
.Provide financial and business advice while monitoring financial performance against agreed targets.
Track key financial KPIs and keep management informed of performance so that timely corrective actions can be taken where required.
Coordinate the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and monthly reporting processes for NOM, A3N and the Singapore CTO business units.
Provide guidance and support in the development of business cases to enable informed management decision-making.
Review and analyse cost savings and cost-avoidance initiatives, particularly in Repair & Maintenance
.Oversee and analyse depreciation trends across the Singapore Network, including outer-year forecasts.
Prepare Vendor Financial Assessments.
Monitor project commissioning closely to ensure timely capitalisation of projects into assets.
Ensure the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of Opex reporting for the Singapore Network
.Act as the (SPOC) for finance-related AI initiatives across the Singapore Network.
Partner with Line VPs and Directors to manage expectations and support initiatives to reduce Network costs across current and outer years in support of ROIC objectives.
Develop a strong understanding of Network costs, their interdependencies across the network and their linkage to Group products and services.
Apply strong analytical capabilities to support business case evaluation and project-related financial decisions.
Manage multiple priorities and deliver effectively within tight timelines.
Bachelor's degree in accountancy or finance.
More than 5 years of relevant finance experience
.Good understanding of relevant accounting standards.
Good understanding of financial systems and how they support management, financial and regulatory reporting requirements.
Strong analytical and project management skills.
Experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and business partnering.
Strong commercial judgement with the ability to evaluate business cases and financial assumptions.
Good presentation and communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior business leaders.
Team player who is also self-motivated and able to work independently.
Good understanding of the telecommunications business
.Able to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
