About The OpportunityThe primary purpose of this position is to manage the contractual and commercial administration of building contracts across a range of active construction projects, ensuring compliance, accurate documentation and strong coordination between site, client and subcontractor teams.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Tracking budget vs actual costs and forecasting cost to complete
- Preparing, issuing and assessing subcontractor variations and claims
- Managing extension of time (EOT) claims and supporting documentation
- Preparing, issuing and certifying progress claims and subcontractor payments
- Administering building contracts (AS2124, AS4000, AS4902) - tracking dates, notices and contractual obligations
The successful candidate will have:
- Local WA experience preferred
- Proficiency inCHEOPS and Procore (not essential)
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or similar (not essential)
- 3+ years' experience in a contract administration role within commercial construction
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with site teams, superintendents and subcontractors
- Earn $120K - $150K Pa + Super
