About The OpportunityAs a Project Manager you will play a vital role in their operations by accurately estimating costs and managing tender processes for construction projects. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing trade packages and tender documentation for subcontractors and suppliers.
- Managing tender processes to ensure fairness and transparency.
- Reviewing quotations to confirm they meet the required scope of work.
- Maintaining accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) across all trades.
- Conducting site visits to verify progress and assess subcontractor invoices.
- Collaborating with teams to evaluate methodologies and identify value engineering opportunities.
- Utilising Cubit estimating software for accurate measurements and cost breakdowns.
- Preparing cost reports and maintaining documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction estimation and project management. You will also possess the following skills and attributes:
- 3+ years of experience in project management and/or construction estimating.
- A qualification in project management, a construction trade, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and coordinate tenders efficiently.
- Proactive problem-solver with strong initiative and follow-through.
- Collaborative team player who liaises effectively across teams and stakeholders.
- Competitive Salary: Earn between $85,000 - $130,000 pa based on experience.
