Catering Assistant

Overview

Joining our educational site, you will need to be a fast working all-rounder. Working as part of a team your daily tasks will mainly consist of:

• general kitchen duties
• Use of Barista Machine
• putting away deliveries
• food preparation
• serving, cleaning and washing up
• assisting with inventory management
• maintaining high standards of presentation of food and replenishing counters, keeping them looking attractive throughout the service time
• speaking to each customer in a friendly, helpful and professional manner
• undertaking all basic training and working effectively with colleagues as part of a team

• This is a customer facing position, so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills
• be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language
• experience in a similar role would be an advantage, but full training will be provided for the successful candidate

This is a permanent contract starting February 2026, 32.5 hours per week – 8am to 3pm with a 30-minute break, Monday to Friday, term-time only.
