I am currently working on behalf of a large FM and maintenance company, seeking an experienced and qualified commercial gas engineer. This will be a semi‑mobile based role covering two commercial properties in Sevenoaks. Ideally the candidate has experience working within commercial environments carrying out all areas of commercial gas maintenance and minor remedial tasks.

- ME, TN, CT engineer required to go to BN/RH
- Planning and carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs for commercial/industrial boilers.
- Completing inspections and gas safety check certificates.
- Ensuring PPM is carried out in line with task schedules, frequencies, and industry best practices.
- Identifying defects, providing parts lists, and estimating timescales for completion.
- Ensuring boilers are transported and handled in accordance with current Health & Safety regulations.
- Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Carrying out installation, repairs, maintenance, and operational duties across various systems, and reporting as requested.
- Working with appliances such as small‑scale plant rooms, centralised heating boilers, gas heaters, etc.
- Visiting customer premises (commercial) to fit, service, and repair boilers and centralised heating systems that have broken down.
- Assessing, dismantling, repairing, or replacing relevant parts.
- Supporting the field service team and maintaining internal operational processes.
- Domestic gas qualifications – desirable
- Commercial tickets
- Commercial catering tickets – highly desirable
- Experience working within commercial environments
- Driving licence
- IPAF & PASMA certification
- OFTEC certification – desirable
- Multi‑skilled experience within minor electrical / fabrication tasks
