About SCC
Severn Christian Church is a local congregation of the Lord’s church, committed to following the New Testament pattern for faith and practice. We hold Scripture as the inspired, sufficient, and authoritative Word of God and desire to be a people shaped by it in belief and life.
Position OverviewWe are prayerfully seeking a humble and passionate preacher who is devoted to expository preaching—proclaiming the Word of God by clearly explaining the text of Scripture in its context and calling God’s people to faithful obedience. The preacher will work alongside the elders to teach, equip, and shepherd the congregation through sound doctrine and Christ-centered proclamation.
