What Is a DSP?
A Direct Support Professional (DSP) is someone who provides hands-on support to individuals with disabilities, helping them live as independently and safely as possible—whether at home, in the community, or in specialized care settings.
Think of a DSP as part caregiver, part coach, and part advocate.
