The maintenance associate role helps shape a member’s shopping experience by ensuring a well-kept facility, clean restrooms, and clean floors. This position requires being on your feet and moving around the facility while maintaining a positive attitude to deliver a great member experience.

• Maintain safety of the facility by following safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including safety sweeps, safe forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials correctly, and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Clean all areas of the facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) following company procedures and using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash per the Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Maintain appropriate levels of approved chemicals and supplies, rotate and store chemicals properly, and place orders to replenish supplies when low.
