Responsibilities
  • Calibrate, adjust, and maintain electronic, electromechanical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, hydromechanical, force, torque, and pressure-type measuring and indicating instruments to conform to set standards.
  • Work from verbal and written instructions and information supplemented by technical job knowledge and experience.
  • Research and develop or assist in the development of calibration methods and procedures according to detailed blueprints, drawings, and instructions.
  • Prepare calibration data reports, data sheets, and other required documentation.
  • Research and develop or assist in the development of automated calibration software.
  • Resolve problems through interface with customers, vendors, and management.
  • May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Basic Qualifications
  • High School diploma, or equivalent with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks.
  • Experience calibrating or adjusting electronic or physical/dimensional test and measurement equipment.
  • Able to periodically lift and carry in excess of 50 lbs.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • US citizenship required to have access to site location.
Desired Skills
  • Military PMEL / TMDE training.
  • 3+ years experience calibrating or adjusting electronic or physical/dimensional test and measurement equipment.
  • Experience using various automation platforms (Met Cal, Lab-view, Compass).

  • Clearance Level: None
  • Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
  • Work Schedules: 9x80 (every other Friday off)
