Member Specialist

Position Summary

Provide member service, maintain the checkout area, resolve member issues, promote Sam's Club products and services, and support members with self‑service technology. Process member purchases, handle payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies, uphold safety standards, conduct safety sweeps, and maintain a safe shopping environment.

• Provide member service and support.
• Maintain entrance, zone, and exit areas and ensure they are safe and organized.
• Process purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
• Handle merchandise safely and report unsafe situations.
• Conduct mandatory safety sweeps and mandatory mandible for self‑service technology.
• Assist with the training of Member Frontline Services associates.
• Execute emergency response procedures and maintain required documentation.
• Collaborate with managers, co‑workers, and customers to identify priorities and improve processes.
• Promote company policies, procedures, and security practices.

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00, meeting or exceeding the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid, ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.

• Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register).
