Security Officer - Clearance Required

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Cleared (Clearance Required – Unarmed). The role involves protecting sensitive and classified information and personnel. On-the-job training will equip you with site‑specific security protocols aligned with your clearance level, supporting skill development and career growth. Paid orientation is available Sat/Sun 4 p‑12 a. The position is part‑time with a wage of $23.11 per hour.

• Provide high‑quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism.
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure protection of people, assets, and classified information.
• Greet guests and employees and escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points.
• Follow site‑specific performance manuals and post orders; report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to clients and other security personnel.
• Respond to and assess security alarms or emergency alarms.
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations.

• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Department of Defense (DoD) position‑appropriate security clearance. National security eligibility considers a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, governed by state and/or local laws and regulations.
• Must possess one or more of the following:
• Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a DoD‑cleared site.
• Prior military experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Intermediate computer skills to operate wireless technology at client‑specific sites.

• Prior law enforcement or armed security experience.
• Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field.
