AMEWAS is seeking a highly motivated and talented Security Specialist (IBST)-Journeyman to support Advanced Aircraft Research, Development, Test & Evaluation.

The salary range of this position is $85,000.00 - $ and is commensurate with experience. This position is not eligible for remote work; on‑site support is required.

The Integrated Battlespace Simulation and Test (IBST) Department is at the heart of this innovative ecosystem. This team is the driving force behind the research, development, management, design, documentation, fabrication, installation, integration, testing, evaluation, operation, and maintenance of the Air Combat Environment Test Facility (ACETEF) and other DAiTA AARDT&E capabilities, laboratories, and facilities. With IBST at the helm, we’re not just preparing for the future but shaping it.

• Learns to meet the requirements of DoD 5205.07 volumes 1-4 for one or more Special Access Programs (SAP) within the Combined Security Office (CSO)
• Initiates, processes, and tracks personnel security actions (Personnel Access Requests (PARs), nominations for employees to special programs, foreign travel/contact reports, briefings, debriefings, etc.)
• Interfaces with customer counterparts in a tactful, diplomatic, and professional manner
• Creates needed procedures for the secure and successful execution of assigned program(s)
• Administers and controls classified material following the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
• Plans and supervises the building and accreditation of secure facilities following Intelligence Community Directive 705

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with JADE
• Knowledge and experience with the U.S. Government security standards of 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117, NISPOM, Intelligence Community Directives, Security Executive…
