At Walmart, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Licensed Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee the predictive and preventative maintenance of our facilities within a regional area. In this role, you will lead a team of technicians, ensuring our buildings operate efficiently and sustainably while providing a safe and comfortable environment for associates and customers.

• Require approximately 50% or more travel within the region.
• Work directly with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility services needs.
• Work directly with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Report and analyze maintenance metrics.
• Maintain up‑to‑date contractor licenses to uphold good standing with relevant authorities.
• Participate in training programs to remain familiar with regulatory requirements, including site inspections to monitor compliance and quality standards.
• Obtain and secure necessary permits and schedule inspections as mandated by mechanical or building codes.
• Lead and motivate a team, fostering professional development.

• 3-5 years of general facilities services or overall building maintenance experience.
• Electrical, plumbing, and/or mechanical experience.
• Leadership skills: ability to lead, motivate, and develop others.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem‑solving skills, including root cause and breakdown analysis.
• Customer service experience.

• EPA Universal Certification.
• PMP Certification.
• Lean Six Sigma.
• Current Maryland Master Electrician License in good standing.
• Maintenance of mechanical contractor licenses in the state of employment.

• Licensed Master Electrician with 5 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, electrical maintenance, engineering, or related areas, OR 3 years’ experience in those areas with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• EPA 608 Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Master Electrician License or equivalent in the state where you will be working.

• Experience with building controls or related areas.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams.
• External work experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in an optical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environment.
• Supervisory experience.
• Type I and Type II EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
