Event Connections Group (ECG) is a high‑end boutique event management agency located in the Baltimore‑Washington metropolitan area. ECG specializes in aligning their clients to the most appropriate resources for high‑touch, results‑focused events. ECG specializes in travel incentive programs, customer events, executive retreats, meetings and high profile donor events.

We are seeking an experienced Proposal Development Manager with a strong background in developing comprehensive RFP responses for luxury incentive travel programs and corporate meetings
. The ideal candidate combines creative vision with financial acumen, delivering exceptional, memorable experiences while managing complex budgets, pricing strategies, and cost negotiations.
CMP designation is preferred.

• Develop and manage winning proposals for incentive travel programs, sales and business meetings and customer events.
• Translate RFPs into creative program concepts and pricing
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and suppliers to deliver solutions
• Source destinations, hotels, and partners; negotiate rates and added value
• Manage proposal timelines, content, and submissions from start to finish
• Stay current on destinations, trends, and competitive offerings

• 3+ years of experience developing proposals for luxury incentive travel and corporate meetings
• Proven experience using proposal software platforms to create and submit RFP responses
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, pricing strategies, and maximizing ROI
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment

• Develop and submit proposals for incentive travel programs, meetings and customers events
• Interpret RFPs and create customized program concepts and pricing
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and supplier partners
• Source destinations, hotels and partners, negotiating rates and added value
• Manage proposal timelines, budgets, and final submissions
• Ensure all proposals reflect client objectives, brand standards, and ROI goals

• Strong Excel skills for budgeting and pricing models
• Experience with CRM systems and proposal management tools
• Ability to create polished presentations and proposal documents
• Comfortable working with virtual meeting platforms and collaboration tools

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in incentive/meeting industry.
• College degree is required

• In office work at our Severna Park, MD location is preferred however possible for hybrid/remote.
