Travel Rehab RN - Sevierville, TN

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled registered nurse specializing in rehabilitation and long-term acute care to serve in a reputable Transitional Care Unit. This travel position offers the chance to work in a professional healthcare environment located in Sevierville, Tennessee, known for its welcoming community and scenic Appalachian surroundings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional nursing care to patients in a long-term acute care and rehabilitation setting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and wellness
• Maintain accurate medical records and administer treatments as prescribed
• Adhere to established protocols and safety standards, including EKG testing and certification requirements
• Participate in unit staffing with a patient ratio of approximately 1:8-10 and be flexible to float as needed
• Fulfill scheduled weekend rotations, averaging every other weekend or two per month

Qualifications and Desired

Experience:

• Current RN licensure with experience in Rehab and Long Term Acute Care (LTAC)
• Certifications in BLS-AHA and NIHSS required prior to assignment start
• Ability to pass EKG testing before beginning the shift
• Willingness to work scheduled shifts from 5 AM to 4 PM with night backward orientation (NBO)
• Flexibility regarding holiday scheduling, with holiday time off requests managed on-site with the manager
