Fresh Foods Team Member: Meat & Produce

Meat / Produce associates maintain a fully stocked Fresh area, rotate product, and uphold food safety standards. After receiving incoming merchandise, they ensure Fresh displays are properly organized and ready for shoppers.

• Work in the deli, bakery, or dry grocery department providing customer service and maintaining inventory.
• Carry out detailed cleaning of shelves and the department, including temperature checks and date verification.
• Dispose of lower quality food products and maintain a safe, comfortable shopping environment.
• Assist customers with product selections, special orders, and day‑to‑day questions.
• Wrap and stock ready‑to‑sell items in proper containers and displays.
• Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food as needed.

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to locate products for shoppers.
• Attention to quality control and inventory accuracy in produce, deli, bakery, dairy, and meat departments.
• Basic food safety knowledge and the ability to maintain a clean, sanitized workspace.
• Proficiency with stocking equipment and handling ready‑to‑sell items.
• Ability to assist with special orders, cake making, and deli orders.
• Strong organizational skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork.
