The Warehouse Administrator is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, setting up trucks and orders for warehouse operations, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This position supports daily logistics, ensures timely order fulfillment, and organizes production and customer orders to promote efficient, safe, and cost-effective warehouse operations.
Essential Functions- Represent company core values of integrity, respect, quality, compassion, consistency, and passion.
- Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound trucks and carriers.
- Set up and prepare shipping and receiving orders in the warehouse system.
- Organize and release daily pick lists and shipment documentation for warehouse staff.
- Verify order accuracy, quantities, and shipping details prior to dispatch.
- Coordinate with Production, Procurement, and Customer Service teams to align shipping schedules with operational needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records including receipts, transfers, and adjustments.
- Monitor stock levels and support cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or variances.
- Ensure proper documentation for bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping paperwork.
- Track shipments and communicate delays or issues to appropriate personnel.
- Support compliance with food safety, quality, and SQF standards within the warehouse.
- Maintain organized filing and electronic records of all warehouse transactions.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
- Promote safe work practices and notify management of unsafe conditions.
- All other duties, as assigned.
- Must be willing to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., email, cell phone).
- Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of warehouse, inventory control, or logistics experience preferred.
- Experience using ERP/WMS or inventory management systems preferred.
- Food manufacturing or distribution experience is a plus.
