Administrative Officer 2 – Seward, Alaska

Level: Supervisory Unit (SS), Range 19

Responsibilities

Administratively coordinate and perform professional-level functions to support AVTEC operations, including financial, budget, procurement, personnel and administrative support.

Evaluate complex issues, develop solutions and guidelines to ensure efficient processes.

Serve as second‑in‑command administrative authority for the Division and assume the responsibilities of the Administrative Operations Manager during absences.

Conduct analysis, interpret financial activity and prepare summaries to support informed decision‑making across the organization.

  • Financial Management – Prepare, justify and administer program budgets.
  • Organizational Awareness – Understand organizational mission and internal systems.

Education and experience may be substituted as equivalent to the stated competencies.
