Help Transform Lives at Sea View’s Recovery CenterSea View Community Services is seeking a dedicated Recovery Center Clinician to provide therapeutic support and counseling to individuals in our residential and outpatient substance use disorder treatment programs. - Provide individual and group therapy for clients in residential and outpatient recovery programs.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed care.
- Collaborate with case managers, peer support specialists, and medical providers to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Facilitate relapse prevention planning, coping skills development, and behavioral health interventions.
- Participate in clinical team meetings, training, and program development initiatives.
Sea View Community Services provides comprehensive behavioral health and recovery services to individuals in Seward, Alaska. Our Recovery Center offers residential and outpatient substance use disorder treatment, helping individuals build healthier, more fulfilling lives. Our team is passionate about person-centered, evidence-based care, and we are committed to supporting both clients and staff in their professional and personal growth.
Requirements- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field, required.
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Alaska as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT, preferred.
- Experience providing individual and group therapy in a behavioral health setting.
- Knowledge of ASAM criteria, trauma-informed care, and best practices in addiction treatment.
