Housekeeper, Hospitality ​/ Hotel ​/ Catering

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure daily high‑quality housekeeping standards are maintained for guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and efficient service of guest rooms and public areas, including thorough cleaning of rooms and bathrooms, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies.
• Report preventative maintenance and handle guest requests.
• Lift, bend, and perform other physical tasks as required.
• Assist other departments or perform additional duties when requested.
• Strip room linens, remake beds, clean bathrooms, and report any damages or items needing repair.
• Work in common areas to keep them organized, clean, and tidy.
• Operate the laundry facility: load washers and dryers, fold linens, and prepare housekeeping carts.
• Provide a welcoming and positive greeting to guests and answer their questions.
• Act as a team member who is willing to "do what it takes" to complete daily housekeeping rosters on schedule.

• Flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and possibly some holidays.
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Willingness to learn about Alaska and the surrounding areas.
• Some experience in the tourism or hospitality industry is a plus.
• Housekeeping or commercial laundry experience is a plus.

Starting wage: $16.50 per hour.
