Providence is calling for a Registered Nurse (RN) in Seward, Alaska
. This is a full‑time, temporary position that will support the resident care of a specific group of patients. The role requires a dynamic RN who can provide patient‑focused, whole‑person care and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team.
The Primary Care Nurse is responsible for the following:
- Providing direct nursing care to residents, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
- Supervising and coaching team members, ensuring compliance with all care protocols.
- Coordinating referrals to clinical support staff, families, and physicians.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for clinical information and care coordination.
- Maintaining accurate documentation in the electronic health record and ensuring HIPAA compliance.
- Participating in on‑call, overtime, and shift differential scheduling as required.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience in a health‑care facility (acute care, long‑term care, or rehabilitation center).
- Experience in supervision or leadership of a nursing team.
The position offers competitive pay and benefits, including:
- Base pay ranging from $43.12 to $66.95 per hour.
- Shift differentials, overtime, and standby/on‑call compensation.
