Providence is calling for a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate care for our community. This is a temporary, full‑time position with variable shifts. The Primary Care Nurse is in charge of resident care for a specific group, supervising team members and coordinating referrals to the clinical support team, families, and physicians.
ResponsibilitiesThe Primary Care Nurse coordinates resident care, oversees team members, supervises nursing services, and serves as the point of contact for elder information. The RN is accountable to the director of nursing, coordinates referrals, and ensures high‑quality care.
Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
- 6 months of nursing experience in a health care facility (acute care, long‑term care, or rehabilitation center).
- Supervision/leadership experience.
