Overview
The RN-Team Advisor directs and supervises the 24-hour care of assigned elders to deliver whole-person care in an innovative elder-directed care model. Responsible for the implementation and ongoing evaluation of the elder's comprehensive plan of care. Uses established work systems and processes to facilitate quality of care and quality of life while ensuring ongoing regulatory compliance with all applicable laws and professional standards of practice.
Facilitates effective communication of elder needs and issues to the clinical support team. Supervises Certified Nursing Assistants, RNs and LPNs within 24-hour teams for the assigned group of elders. Fosters positive change, professional/program growth and teamwork in an innovative care setting designed to be transformational in the lives of elders and those who care for them.

Responsibilities- Directs and supervises the 24‑hour care of assigned elders to deliver whole-person care.
- Oversees the implementation and ongoing evaluation of the elder's comprehensive care plan.
- Uses established work systems and processes to facilitate quality of care and quality of life while ensuring regulatory compliance with applicable laws and professional standards.
- Facilitates effective communication of elder needs and issues to the clinical support team.
- Supervises Certified Nursing Assistants, RNs and LPNs within 24-hour teams for the assigned group of elders.
- Fosters positive change, professional/program growth, and teamwork in an innovative care setting designed to be transformational in the lives of elders and those who care for them.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Alaska Registered Nurse License (upon hire)
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
- One year of clinical nursing experience
- Experience in gerontological nursing to perform the essential functions of the position
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- One year of clinical supervisory, management, or resource experience
- Experience in long-term care
