LTC LVN/LPN - Night and Day Shifts Available

Assignment Duration:
This is a contract position with options for 13 or 26 weeks.

Schedule:

Available shifts include 4x12 hour day or night shifts; 19:00 - 07:30 for night or 07:00 - 19:30 for day shifts. Shifts may vary based on facility needs.

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified LTC LVN/LPN to join a long-term care facility in Alaska. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a supportive environment. Previous travel experience is required, and candidates must have a valid Alaska license in hand prior to applying.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to long-term care residents.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, ambulation, and nutritional support.
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the supervising RN or MD.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting in the electronic medical record system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of long-term care experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Current and valid Alaska nursing license in hand is essential.
• All caregivers must obtain the Alaska Food Worker Certification during orientation.
