LTC LVN/LPN
LTC LVN/LPN with previous travel experience is required. Must have an AK license in hand. Shift options include 4x12 variable shifts, or 3x12 variable shifts based on the traveler's choice. Shifts will be either days or nights, depending on facility needs at the time of the start date. The duration of the assignment is the traveler's choice for either 26 or 13 weeks.
Staff ratios are 1:20. All caregivers are required to obtain the Alaska Food Worker Certification during orientation. There is a one-time fee for this certification. Candidates must have previous long-term care experience. Travelers may float within the scope to meet facility needs. All time off must be submitted upfront during application; no more than two weeks of time off will be considered.
Travelers must be willing to work at least two of the three major winter holidays. Local candidates are not accepted; permanent addresses must be at least 50 miles from the facility. Candidates should not reach out to facility contacts directly unless for an agreed-upon interview. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment.
Candidates must provide valid credentials and references during the compliance process prior to the start. All caregivers are responsible for their own communication devices required for duty.
